During the opening ceremony, you will be given a complete yoga kit that includes a yoga mat, books for studying, a notebook, a bottle of water, a net pot, a rubber mesh, a school t-shirt and a mala rudraksha. This is to encourage an authentic yogic experience in the Ashram environment and to help you tune your body, mind and spirit to the knowledge and training of authentic and traditional yoga. At the end of the yoga teacher training, students will receive a certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance.

Rishikesh Nath Yogshala follows a curriculum that meets the international standards of the Yoga Alliance, along with the experience of renowned yoga gurus. The goal of this teacher training course is to create a solid foundation to help you pursue a career as a certified yoga teacher. The 300-hour yoga teacher training course offered by the institute includes everything you need to learn to become a professional yoga teacher. You will learn the definition of yoga, the yogic diet and lifestyle, the paths of yoga (Jjnana, Raja, Bhakti and Karma yoga), the biography of important yogis, the eight members of Patanjali's yoga sutras, the study of an ancient text (the Bhagavad Gita) and Ayurveda.

The course also covers 65 asanas, five basic meditation techniques, three types of pranayamas, shatkarma, body alignment techniques, how to teach individual and group sessions, business ethics of yoga, creation of a yoga school, holistic approach to learning and teaching therapeutic yoga and more. Students must be competent to graduate as yoga teachers based on their participation in class and their continuous observations during classes. They will also receive valuable feedback on practical sessions from assistant teachers and senior teachers.
